What Is Split Screen?
A monitor that is divided into two halves or screens by the software called split-screen. So, you can use it as a total of 4 monitors on your PC/Laptop for gaming and watching movies.
You Must Need:
Self Powered USB Hub (any hub will not work) or
Micro USB OTG Cable & Rooted Android Device
If you are using a “Rooted” android device then go to the second way because it’s easy to do this with one click. If you are using a Non Rooted android device then you need to do it with the help of “Self Powered USB Hub”.
How To Do Split Screen On Samsung S20 With Non-Rooted Android Device:
Step 1) First, connect your self-powered USB hub or Micro USB OTG Cable to the Android device. After that, plug your Samsung monitor into an available port on the hub/cable.
Step 2) Now run any app which you want to use at the same time on both screens. For example, I’m going to watch a YouTube video on Monitor 1 and control the Youtube player from Monitor 2.
Step 3) After launching the YouTube App go to the settings page by clicking three lines menu button. Now scroll down and enable “Second Screen Only”.
Step 4) Now go to the video which you want to play on Monitor 1. Make sure that your Mouse Cursor is not in the top area of the monitor otherwise the app will close.
Step 5) Press play and it will show a pop-up message “Press Play On Second Screen To Watch This Video On Full Screen”.
Step 6) Now press play on Monitor 2 the video will play the full screen on Monitor 1 and you can use your Mouse Cursor for controlling.
How To Do Split Screen On Samsung S20 With Rooted Android Device
If you don’t want to connect USB hub or OTG cable then you can do it easily with an app called “Screen Splitter Free”. This is a very simple method and easy to control.
For doing this, first, install “Screen Splitter Free” from Google Play Store. After that, run this app then select YouTube as our source application. Finally, tap the OK button. At last, play your video and enjoy split-screen on Samsung S20.
How To Do Split Screen On Samsung S20 Via Self-Powered USB Hub:
If you don’t want to connect any USB device such as OTG cable or self-powered USB hub then follow this guide. You can do it via your PC/Laptop and here we share the easy way with an application called “Simple Multi-Viewer”.
Step 1) First, download and install “Simple Multi-Viewer” from here. After that, uninstall the app which you will use on both monitors. For example, I’m going to watch a YouTube video on Monitor 1 and control the Youtube player from Monitor 2. So first, I uninstalled the YouTube apps from my phone.
Step 2) Now open “Simple Multi-Viewer” on your Windows/Mac OS X computer. After that, select the “Add Monitor” button.
Step 3) Now connect your Samsung monitor to an available USB port on your PC/laptop.
Step 4) It will automatically recognize your Samsung monitor then click on the OK button. Finally, press “Start Server” after connecting the power supply.
How To Do Split Screen On Samsung S20 Via Vysor:
You can also do this with an app named “Vysor” which is available for Windows/Mac OS X. This is a free app and easy to use.
Step 1) First, install the latest version of “Vysor” from here. After that, launch this application on your PC or Laptop. It will automatically detect your Android phone then click on the OK button. Finally, press “Start mirror session” after connecting the power supply.
Step 2) Now start any app which you want to use at the same time on both screens like I’m going to watch a YouTube video on Monitor 1 and control Youtube player from Monitor 2. So first, have uninstalled the YouTube apps from my phone.
Step 3) Now run the YouTube app on your smartphone then open the video which you want to play.
Step 4) After that, press the share button and select “Vysor” as a second screen option. It will automatically show Cast as an overlay on the YouTube player. So tap on it and it will send the pointer to Monitor 2 where we can use our Mouse Cursor for controlling things easily.

FAQs: How To Split Screen On Samsung S20
I Am Using A Self-powered Hub And It Doesn’t Work.
If you are using a self-powered hub but it does not work then please do make sure that your Hub’s power supply is connected to the wall outlet.
You need to enable “Second Screen Only” in the YouTube App Settings Menu. Just open the app, go to settings then activate “Second screen only”.
Your device should have Android Lollipop 5.0 or higher version to control Mouse Cursor from Monitor 2.
Why My Samsung S20 Isn’t Being Detected By Simple Multi-viewer?
You may have enabled “Developer Options” because Developer options are hidden by default. To enable it, go to Settings » About phone » Build number seven times and you will see a pop-up saying “You are now a developer!”. Go back to the Settings menu then open Additional settings » Developer options.
Now you can easily do a split-screen on any monitor of your PC/Laptop with the help of the above steps. But if you want to use 3 or 4 screens for gaming or watching movies then you need a graphic card such as NVIDIA SLI or ATI Crossfire which helps to give high graphics performance.
